(July 12, 2022, 1:52 am)We were coming back from basscoast festival and wanted somewhere to stop half way for something tasty so we went to Ashcroft and randomly found Sam’s diner. It’s a nice diner, very clean and great service. Sam the owner and chef is so lovely. My husband had fish and chips and I had sweet and sour chicken. We were both super happy and had clean plates!
The fries are legendary … the other reviews are true. It’s a no frills kind of place but it has a lovely sense of community and does delicious food at a great price!
The burgers looked good too!
Looking forward to coming back and it might just become an after festival tradition for us.

(September 5, 2021, 1:07 am)Beautiful place, great vibe, great service and some nicely salted onion rings! Also menu hasn't had crazy jumps in pricing due to pandemic. I would recommend to all!
