Really good little spot! I had the central burger and a poutine. The burger was amazing, and even though I'm not a fan of mushrooms, I was impressed by the size of them. Only complaint I have is the fries were a little overcooked, but the gravy was delicious and pretty much made up for it.
The man who served us was also the owner of the place, and he did his absolute best to make sure we had a good experience.
Came in on a Monday during lunch hour. The restaurant is only open for lunch on Mondays. Food was great and service was top notch! The owner offered us leftover cake from his birthday which was very kind.
Very welcoming and friendly place to eat!
Was looking for a place for dinner on my way into Vancouver and this place popped up in Ashcroft. It's just a couple minutes into town which is quite scenic. The restaurant is very very quirky small town feel with a large outdoor patio. Got the Grand Central Burger, and whatever else you can say about this place, this guy knows how to make a burger. The handmade patties literally melted in my mouth without needing to cook it medium. Definitely one of the better burgers I've had, so you won't regret going at all. The owner is a little odd but very friendly. Will definitely share some interesting opinions with you though if you let him engage in small talk.
Been here many times. Covid hurt the local business area and it shows but we keep coming back for cheeseburgers. Great simple and straightforward food. Outdoor area is my favorite. Today we did our Canadian prairie surf n turf Cheeseburger and beer batter fish n chips. Fresh, hot and yum.
We were attracted to the restaurant when we observed tables with chairs on a pseudo patio in front. We wanted to have a beer with our meal however we couldn't sit on the deck as it wasn't licensed until later on in the month (don't we all love gov't liquor controls). My traveling companion had the special and said it was all right, I had the pizza which had the right amount of ingredients on top however I found the base quite starchy.
