“Just spent our 3rd long weekend at Meadow Lake Guest Ranch and it never disappoints! It is hands down my favourite place to escape to. The views are breathtaking, and it’s so quiet. The star gazing on a clear night is magical. The houses are incredibly well appointed, with everything you need. We have be able to cook elaborate meals for large groups in the Jefferson Ranch House. The homes are spotless when you arrived, and the beds are comfortable. Be sure to bring all the food and drinks you need as once you arrive, you won’t want to make the trip to town again. Meadow Lake is good for girls weekends, romantic get aways or as in our case, the perfect meeting place for best friends to reconnect. There are games to entertain the kids, quiet corners to cozy up in to read a book and miles of fields to wander. We were able to bring our pup and she had the time of her life! The ranch managers are helpful, friendly and very responsive if you need anything at all but they give you complete privacy. This last stay we rented both the Jefferson Ranch House and the Roadhouse. The Roadhouse is so charming and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. And well, the Ranch-house is gorgeous! We can’t wait for our next trip!!”

“Absolutely beautiful!!! The Nomad Motel is the cleanest place that I have visited in a long time!!! I have been to high end places and all the places in between and the Nomad is by far the cleanest!!! The owner operators are soooo nice and friendly!!! I highly recommend staying here!!! The best prices in the area too!!! The up keep on the outside of the building, inside the rooms and the flower gardens is what makes this place very relaxing, in my opinion!!! I will be back!!!”

“I was at the ranch for 4 days. The rooms are simple and functional. The staff are super nice and always helpful. The restaurant was still closed and I catered for myself. For this I was brought extra a hot plate and pots. Jenna, the manager and my guide for the rides is super and explained me a lot about the landscape. The horses are very well ridden and treated well. I had a lot of fun.”

If you are a person who thinks sensitivity training at your workplace is a good use of time and money, you should just pass on because you will not be pleased. On the other hand, if you want a great dinner with some humor that might be a bit crude, then this will be a great place for you.”

“Cool items. I want to buy a saddle but first I need the horse and trailer. This place has alot to offer. Time machine back to 1925. Not sure if they barter for new stuff as they are a trading post. They were open when we got there. We stopped to look into their icecream in the area. Not sure what they mean by "Clinton or Bust". But we sure enjoyed the stop as they have two old old School old old vehicles. One appears to be functional. Probably not insurable. We will be stopping in here again sometime for more ice cream. Thanks Clinton for being covid free. Keep up the good work. And hope to see more next time around.”

“I stayed here for 3 nights to film some content for their social media and website; and it was a great mix of work and enjoying the ranch itself. The staff are all very attentive and caring, with Mike the manager being available at all times to make sure you have the best experience possible. Mia was very quick to learn all our first names when asking our dinner orders or any other questions, and she quickly unlocked my room that I accidentally locked myself out of, whoops haha. If you love animals or want to learn to, they have 3 dogs, plenty of horses, and some cats to get to know, all very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, the views are stunning if you're going for a horseback ride, e-bike ride, or a hike. I hope to visit again in the winter to see the landscape blanketed in snow, and try out the different activities offered that time of year!”
