“A very well kept fenced dog park with a water tap, double gate entry. Poo bags and a can. We had the park to ourselves. The park is immaculate. Not one poop left behind. My compliments to the user community and maintanence staff.”

“Site #10, no services, end sure so we had a beautiful green space to gather with family and friends during the day. Great salmon fishing off the bank of the river. Our friend caught his limit each day he went out. Clean washrooms, well run. Only gave it 4 stars because of the noisy trains and no sani dump. However, there are 8 sites with 30 amp power. Great beach for swimming. We will definitely go back. Lots of, if not all the sites have lake or river view”

“If you like rustic this place is awesome. Running cold water only and electrical in cabins with beautiful decks overlooking the lake. Couple of them had toilets but we opted out. They have clean seperate bathrooms and showers. Awesome artwork can be viewed throughout property. Could not say enough about the hospitality. The owners are great very accommodating and friendly and awesome to chat with. They chopped up would ready for the fire pit for us to return to from early evening fishing. Lake has fish albeit small we caught several (trout). Swimming wasn't really an option as there was much algae as the lake had released. Mind you we did see kids swimming and in all fairness the weather wasnt on our side. Do bring water for drinking as there is a water advisory water must be boiled it comes from the lake. Would return and recommend.”

“Visiting this park in late July is one of the best decisions you can make. The alpine meadows are in full bloom, the roads are at their most passable, and the views are unforgettable.”

“One of our favorite little campsites. Great for a quick overnight or several days. Not quiet at all! Trains run all day and all night but awesome to watch as they snake through the tunnels and wind along the river. There are a few spots to swim but it’s fairly cold and can be dangerous with the strong river currents if not careful. The trains, fishing, starry skies and beauty of this site is amazing though and we’ll always come back.”

“Beautiful park and road access is easy enough in a 4x4. The site is camper maintained so trails are grown over a bit but its a great place to explore. Absolutely amazing views and lots of birds. There is a out-house at the park which is super nice to have when your camping. The site was clean and very peacefull, and the lake had lots of fish jumping. I cant wait to go back!”

“Pretty new museum, a bit small, but rich in history and wonderful artifacts from Chinatowns in the area from the Gold Rush and the CPR era. Curator also offered much information on the history of the Chinese in Lytton. Edit: I am shocked and saddened to see the devastation wrought by the wildfire in late June this year. My heart goes out to the people of Lytton, I hope the museum was able to save some of their invaluable and irreplaceable cultural and historical treasures, and I hope the museum can rebuild for future generations to enjoy the rich history and culture of the area.”

“We paddled beautiful Kentucky Lake and stopped for a swim in a shallow area. The footing is squishy everywhere and is fun to wiggle your toes in! It only sinks a bit. Note there are only six day use parking spots, so if it's busy, you'll have to park at the extra lot on the road up top, and walk down. There is a turnaround by the launch area where you can drop your craft off before parking.”

“Absolute gem in a very interesting area. Love the park layout amongst the ponderosa forest and the ease of access to the lake. Lots of family amenities. Whoever was running and working for BC parks in the 50s were geniuses. Definitely adding this to the list to visit again and explore more.”

“Sun Peaks is a beautiful, cute, little mountain resort with spectacular views all around you. There is a small but interesting village at the base of the 3 mountains, with lots of neat shops, restaurants, and galleries. There are lots of activities to do all year round to satisfy everyone's recreational desires. From lakes, horseback riding, golfing in the spring/ summer to skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and many more winter activities. I have yet to buy my season's pass for the 2022 season, but I've heard from many of my neighbors there that Sun Peaks has, by far, the best snow in Canada so I can't wait to start skiing there this coming Winter. If you are staying local to BC, for travelling this year, I recommend you check out Sun Peaks Resort; you wont be disappointed you did!”

“We stopped off at Sagewood Winery on our way back to Vancouver from Celista. Shelley was a fantastic host welcoming us and taking the time to tell us all about her winery. The four wines we tasted were packed with flavour. Highly recommended this place of you're in the area. I will definitely be coming back .”

“Truth be told, we stopped in Chase because of a traffic tie up on Hwy. #1. We came across the Chase Museum and we went in to check it out. It made me realize that, for as many times as we pass by little towns on our way to other destinations, we can very easily miss out on really interesting parts of the history of our Province. The museum may be small but it has a lot of really neat things to look at in history to read about. The curator Reese was very friendly and helpful. When we told him how we ended up there he even look up alternative driving routes for us on his computer. I'm really glad we ended up stopping there!”
