“Picked up dinner last night and it was pretty good. My wife had some of the tacos, they are a good size, and she really liked the fish. The chicken was good too. Not sure why, but the pork was a bit off. I have a buffalo chicken burrito that was good, and we tried some of the fish and chips for our child. Fish is good, it has a lot of breading though. Fries are good if you like larger doughy fries. Nice they are in the area and most of the food was good. Update: Had the fish tacos again recently and they are definitely out favourite. Worth the trip.”

“Best Chinese food in the city IMHO. Used to live close by - now I drive 30 min to go pick it up because nothing in our neighbourhood comes even close. Try the Autumn Chicken if you generally like honey garlic chicken balls, its a much better dish. Also the ginger beef is fantastic, oh and the wontons... so good!”

“I have been coming to Yami Garden for the past 10 years now and have experienced the food under many different managements. Each management has brought changes, some good, some bad. But overall I have always had a good experience. I can only speak for a couple of dishes that I always order. My favourite dish is the "Sliced Fish in Hot Chili Oil" Pros: - The staff has always been friendly - The pricing is reasonable - They offer good amount of traditional dishes - The place is always clean and well taken care of Cons: - Constant management change leads to inconsistency - Inconsistency in the way dishes are prepared. It seems as though they run out of ingredients and substitute them with what they have available. This has happened multiple times when ordering the same dish over the years. Sometimes the dish just doesn't taste the same regardless of ingredients. - Ordering over the phone can be difficulty sometime due to the language barrier So far I am impressed with the current management as they have definitely improved the consistency and quality of the food. Overall I do recommend Yami Garden but can be a hit or a miss for someone trying it for the first time.”

“Went today for lunch. Was the first customer of the day as I arrived at 11:30. Heard the crew making my meal and it took an appropriate amount of time to be served to me. Got the chorizo enchilada which I'm sure isn't the easiest for them to make. Very tasty. Hot sauce is outstanding and also they give free chips and salsa. 10/10 recommend”
