“Love coming here to study ,do some work or even just use a computer and read. The staff are friendly and the location is great beside Starbucks if you decide to take a coffee break. It’s always clean, and has a washroom if you want to stay there for long.”

“A wonderful cozy place with excellent mannered and very helpful staff. Had a six week online training with a friend and needed to make use of the library, the head librarian went the extra mile of offering us a private room for the course, and whenever the room was occupied , she gave us her office to stay so we could have some privacy. Super nice set of workers!”

“The Alliance is not only a high quality language school with very high teaching standards. This is also a place to meet people, to enjoy culture (most of time cultural activities are free), and sometimes even a good glass of wine! They also have a very good Francophone movie collection. Highly recommend — go check their events, it’s worth it.”

“Good Wifi Connection. Very attentive and helpful staff. Maybe I was unlucky in my visit, but the users of the library were very loud, louder than College students. Hard to concentrate.”

“Really nice place to go and grab a book to read, nobody is going to annoy you or pester you for sitting and reading for a few hours like some other public Librarys, I'd suggest you go there because it's not busy, not dirty, not loud, it's quite, clean, and really low in human traffic.”

“Started using this library rather than driving downtown. The only thing is that they need to enforce the use of mobile phones in the library. Visitors to the library should not be allowed to make or receive calls inside the library. Can be a bit too noisy and distracting if too many people are having conversations around you also. Might not be fully idea for quiet reading.”

“Huge collection of books and nice staff are the key features of this place. Give it a try.”

“Your book sale prices make no sense. I was going to buy two books sans hardcover for what I thought would be .89 cents but the librarian tells me they'll be 3.00 each because they are catagorized. However she suggests I buy a bag for the same price. If I had filled a bag with 5 books, the price would be the same. It makes no sense.”

“Love the renovations. The young readers section was very accessible, took my toddler for his first trip to the library and it was easy to find a variety of fun stories at his eye level. Good little reading bench, table and interactive area. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is parking, people were parked like buttheads which made the limited parking even more of a pain. A spot should be set aside for pregnant ladies and parents with very young children. I had to carry my little guy (10 months) quite a ways from the spot I got and it was a pretty cold day.”

“I like this library but I've been treated dismissively when asking simple questions. As someone with anxiety, I try not to speak with librarians who work there now.”
