“Nice park, lots of sites that are private. Three stars because we had stuff stolen from our site when we were out for the day. Left a few items (water, table, floor mat, firewood) to symbol that the site was taken, came back to a completely bare site. While staff was quick to respond to our call and nice to work with, we were still upset that our items were stolen when we live out of our van.”

“This whole area is authorized for day use only except during Folk Festival. So you can normally access it anytime you'd like but you can't Camp here overnight. During the festival you can camp here as long as you purchase an upgrade with your Folk Festival ticket. There are seven camping Bays East with at least two car access points but you do have to walk in your gear part of the way for most of them. They each have lit washrooms (the hot water is not very hot but what can you do) and a covered area for cooking with some seating.”

“In winter, beautifully groomed well treed cross country trails close to the city. Lots to choose from, both short and long well marked routes. Also some skate ski areas. Hikers and dog walkers are not looked upon kindly on the groomed trails so walkers advised observe the signs and head off to trails for hiking only, elsewhere in the park!”

“Fun Mountain Bike trail. Easy to moderate difficulty. Some nice tight turns and narrow tree alleys. Groomed in the winter and great on a fat bike. Would get five ????'s but the signage needs work. Ended off trail into another path.”
