“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Manipogo Provincial Park, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The campsites were spacious and well-maintained, providing ample room for our group to set up comfortably. The highlight, of course, was the stunning beach area and crystal-clear water. It felt like paradise, and we spent hours swimming and sunbathing. Moreover, the walking paths in the park were a pleasant surprise. They offered a fantastic way to explore the natural beauty of the area while getting some exercise. The scenery along the paths was simply breathtaking, with lush vegetation and serene lake views. Overall, Manipogo Provincial Park is a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts and campers alike. I can't wait to return and enjoy more of its serene beauty and recreational opportunities. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque outdoor escape.”

“Beautiful camp ground located beside a river. A number of ball diamonds and a lot of open grass area for other activities. A small play structure for the little ones. Just building new washrooms with showers. Only 15 min away from golf course.”

“Never expected to see sand dunes in Manitoba. It was a surreal hike if you haven’t visited there. We went on a Saturday long weekend and it was moderately packed with people. Make sure to wear running shoes that doesn’t let sand in and water bottles as the water provided isn’t safe for drinking.”

“No complaints. They delivered on all they offered. Electric sites only. Facilities were clean. Staff friendly. Nice beach for kids. The hikes were very good but could be marked better. Easy to be misled by other peoples trails. Could use more info on the wagon ride.”

“One of my favorite campgrounds because it is off the beaten track so it is quiet. Yet it has many activities that we enjoyed: miniature golf with courses having names unique to the park, an arboretum, visitor centre with displays of wildlife and photos of animals in the area, a gift store, and the Pine Fort IV general store that even sells camp stoves and sleeping bags. The snack shop sells excellent ice cream, I recommend cherry. Spruce Woods Provincial Park is a dark sky preserve, the only one in Manitoba. I took a 25 minute star trail picture in the middle of the night.”

“Very pretty spot! We saw hawks, flowers and all kinds of bees. We heard owls. The path and area are well maintained and there is wheelchair/walker/stroller access. Nice spot to watch the clouds shadows float accross the valley. There is parking, a picnic shelter area (with fire pit and wood stove) and washrooms near by.”

“A small nature reserve perfect for a picnic or leg stretch after a long drive. This park is located on your way to Spruce Woods Provincial Park, so you can stop here and add one more trail to your list. Perfect for families, keep dogs on leash.”

“View is perfect! Make sure you wear shoes! Doesn't have to be hiking shoes but anything other than sandals work, trail is easy with a cupple hills to walk up and the path is uneven terrian for about half of it but the view was totally worth it. Walked for about an hour on the short trail there and back total”

“Wow this trail was tough! I would consider myself a beginner/intermediate hiker, and would give this trail a 4/5 difficulty for its terrain. It’s very rocky, there are lot of trees roots, and there are a lot of steep inclines and declines. The signage on the way out is fine but is very confusing on the way back. I recommend going on a cool day with plenty of water and snacks. I definitely don’t recommend this hike for beginners. Overall this trail is incredibly beautiful and the challenge was worth it”

“Had a fantastic weekend at this campground. Large trees and large sites, many with full service, make camping here an enjoyable time. The only drawbacks we encountered were.... The pool was clean, but un-heated, making a cool experience. But on the right day this would be fine. The purchase price for firewood was fairly steep for what you get. The water, from their hookup point at the campsites, is not for drinking (which is understandable) BUT it was very cloudy and orange in colour even after putting it through our camping filter. Within a single weekend.... Used up a semi-new filter. Cannot say that I have had that happen before. And getting someone on the phone to book a site was a bit difficult, but they did always call back, even if it was the next day. These are all smallish issues when we look at the experience we had this weekend. Would we go back.... You bet.”

“Our family has been going hunting with Rick and Collene since 2013. Started taking our boys as teenagers and last year we took one of our daughter in laws. It is one of the most relaxing places. Food is great, you won't go hungry. They will do everything they can to get you a bear. Last year I took a bear of a lifetime. Rick and Collene have become life long friends with our family. Looking forward to going back in 2025! My husband is looking forward to his moose hunt 2026.”

“This short little trail was harder than I expected it to be. It’s very rocky and there a few steep parts so make sure you wear proper hiking shoes. You will find lots of blueberries and raspberries, as well as plenty of plant medicines. Incredibly beautiful”

“Great camping sites, many amenities to try and places around to explore, cafes, restaurants, convenience store and watercraft to rent. Facilities are clean and well maintained. The lake water is crystal clear and the fact that the lake was made by a meteorite makes it more interesting. 🤓”
