“Amazing Beach! Some of nicest sand in the world, and we travel a bit. Mid June on a Friday, and we had the place to ourselves!”

“The beach is so huge and beautiful with soft, white sand like Florida. Unfortunately there was a lot of algae this year, but everywhere seems to be having that problem. It didn't stop us from enjoying the beach and swimming. The water was shockingly warm. Bath water warm! Because it is such a large lake the winds and waves are unpredictable. Our young kids hated the big waves many days but some days it was like glass. We loved the boardwalk and the beach front shops and food. A really fantastic beach, second to none in MB. Another big beach highlight is the sand dunes. So much fun. The town doesn't offer a lot compared to other MB resort towns like Clear Lake or Falcon Beach, however. It appears run down at first appraisal. But it grew on us and it has some great restaurants and some very nice gift shops and playground. We stayed 8 nights in the campground and we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful brand new shower facilities ($1per 3 minutes including large family showers). The campground is very private with loads of trees. Only one playground but it is very nice. Large sites but they are pure dirt and rocks. We wish there were was more grassy areas for the tent and for the kids. Everything was filthy all the time! Overall we loved our stay and would return again for both day trips and camping.”

“Absolutely gorgeous location! Pro tip - take the short hiking trail on the western tip of the beach... There are a couple perfect spots for watching/taking pictures of the sun setting over the water”

“Desserts was a little pricey but have a lot of toppings that makes up for it. Also, they only accept cash. No debit or credit whatsoever. There is an ATM nearby but more than likely charge a convenience fee to obtain cash thru their ATM. Overall we liked it. Also note that no pets allowed on the boardwalk/beach.”

“Water is too low even there are no tides but the peace you can attain in there is incomparable. The long weekend of August or in start of September is a nice time to go. It will be empty and you'll taste the best ice cream.”

“This place has a lot of poor reviews so we questioned going here, but we had a fantastic time. We loved the friendly staff and the food was completely delicious. The pizza is worth driving from far away! The building itself is old and dated but the food makes up for it! The live music is fun and lively and the vibe in the place it great.”

“Food is always awesome and their traditional greek salad is definitely worth a try. The best burgers in Grand Beach as well, but can be a little on the pricey side, especially when feeding a family of 4 or more.”

“I got the 21 shrimps with seafood sauce to go. Very golden crunchy coating with cornmeal and the shrimp were not overdone. The service was good and the staff operated under clear directions.”
