H2O Academy

The program for toddler is great~ love the viewing lounge as the other parents can be seated there to watch their kids without getting wet~ the only concern is the cleanliness at the entrance and the changing room as they are always messy and wet~ the pool temperature is not consistent as well as sometimes is warm (which is awesome!) and sometimes is cold (my kids actually get cold after the class).

As a former aquatic athlete, coach, and Kinesiology graduate, I can honestly say that I am so impressed by H2O Academy and their unique programming. Their swim school model rooted in physical literacy is SO SMART and students progress so much faster than traditional lessons. The no passing or failing is also an awesome way to build student's confidence and to encourage students to stay in lessons long term! I truly believe in this company and their amazing growth potential, especially here in Manitoba! There is nothing else offered even remotely similar to H2O here in Winnipeg, and the quality is well worth the price. These reasons (and many more) are what drew me to pursue a career at H2O Academy, and I couldn't be happier about my choice! I am so excited to be a part of this amazing company and look forward to helping them grow and improve!

H2O is the best place to work! I always look forward to my shifts and seeing all my co workers and kids that I teach. We all have so much fun teaching that it doesn’t even feel like a job! And the owners and manager are so nice and helpful! There is classes for everyone from babies to adults and their award winning aqua lit curriculum makes a strong, confident swimmer out of anyone! So grateful that I get to work with so many amazing people and share my love for the water with so many kids!

H20 Academy is an absolutely wonderful swimming school. Their new facility is clean, beautifully laid out and everyone is incredibly friendly. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and well trained. Since starting there this past summer, my 4 year old went from refusing to get in the water to now hardly being able to wait until his lesson every week. The confidence he has gained in the water by himself is unbelievable.

Highly recommend H20 to anyone!

Our kids attended H2O since they started. The program was good and the instructors were nice. My kids enjoyed it. The problem is, even when you've been with them for so many years, you are not guaranteed to be registered for the following term. Registration is a struggle every time, especially when you have multiple kids to enrol. You have to be signed on the exact minute the registration opens and should check out immediately as spots get filled up really quickly! If you don't check out immediately after adding a child to the cart (if you need to add more kids, or if you're having trouble applying your credit or payment) you lose the spot and go on the waiting list. If you're lucky to register successfully but does not have the same day or close schedules for your children, it is very inconvenient having to drive each child to swimming on different days, especially when you live on the other side of the city. Although, keeping clients may not be a big concern to them since they get thousands of registrants each time, it would have been nice if they give priority to families who are already in the program, such as having the option to keep your spot for the next term before they open it up for registration.
