Mantario Hiking Trail - North Trailhead

My brother, our dogs, and I enjoyed the 15k into Ritchy and back out. We decided on the North Trailhead as our intro to Mantario because it is easier terrain than the south end with closer campsites for shorter days and more access to water. We felt this was a good start to getting a feel for the trail before we attempted the whole thing another time.

The best and most challenging hike near Winnipeg. If you want to do the entire hike, go from North to South. The north half of the trail is often wet and flooded. Park your car and put your sandals for the first 2 km.
