“This place is nice to go by and get some small things. Need pop for the kids/yourself, they got it. Beer for the adults, got it. Snacks to sneak into a movie theater because thr popcorn is expensive, got it. (Plus ted makes some good popcorn). Ice cream in the summer or some subs for a quick lunch, got it during spring-fall time. Its something that keeps this neighborhood alive. (By the time this review is done i should hopefully have a job at the place i went to as a child). Edit i have thr job.”

“Jim came out to fix my Goodman furnace, and found a few things that the original installer (not going to mention any names, but a popular local heating & Cooling company that you'd probably recognize) did incorrectly, but promptly spotted it - this is important because another furnace company was JUST out a month before and did not notice the deficiencies but sure sold me a part I probably didnt need, and as soon as they left, it was acting up again. These were things that were significantly decreasing the service life of my furnace, and causing it to "stall out" constantly. He ordered the parts, and even called me in between the time the parts were ordered to let me know when he expected to be back. The parts fixed the furnace and now it is running great. I didnt pay anything, as the repairs were part of a service plan, but I did get a copy of the receipt and I have to say, the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend.”

“We have out of town guests so we wanted something good and sweet after a day visiting Detroit and dinner there. We stopped at Lick'em Up and there was a crowd in line. But the service was great and we soon had our desserts. Lick'em Up has an amazing variety of tasty treats. My wife and I shared a Banana Split. I don't remember the last time I had one but I'm sure that the one we had last night was as good as I've ever had. Everyone left happy and we pledged a return visit before our guests head back home.”

“My wife and I recently upgraded our boat with a new to us ( used ) boat from Hideaway. Jason, Craig, Mike, Rob and crew literally put us under their wings during the process. As with all larger sized boats there are many systems involved and they have spent a huge amount of time with us from showing and teaching these important details to installation of some upgrades and all the way to one on one running and driving education from captain Jason. We are still wrapping up some finishing touches and these guys are always so friendly and helpful its amazing. They have even helped us with location and securing of our boat slip. We are fairly new to boat ownership and are learning that the boating community is a tight group.
