“My car broke down while driving to Selfridge AFB about 15 miles from my home. I was going to a retirement/60th birthday celebration at the base for my cousin who was a Chief Master Sergeant. I dreaded what a tow home would cost and I thought I was going to miss the celebration????. It was a Saturday close to 5pm. A quick Google search said Sam’s Auto Service was open. I called to see if I could get a tow to his place. He said he could refer me to a tow guy but Sam’s was officially closed. He closes at 3 on Saturday, not 6pm like Google said. But he came to see about me and my car anyway. Got it started enough to drive it the one block to his shop saving me about $75 in a tow and then gave me a ride to Selfridge so I could continue on to my cousin’s celebration!!!!! Sam certainly didn’t have to give me a ride and he didn’t have to even come see about me especially after they were closed. This man went out of his way, was professional and efficient. Fixed my car and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg to do it either. I would highly recommend his shop to everyone!”
