“Karl and Robyn are fantastic hosts! We couldn't be happier with our stay and look forward to the next. We notified Karl that we would be arriving late - he left the lights on for us in our cabin, so we could see our way to it. We had the pleasure to meet them during our stay. They're both wonderful people! Cabin #3 has many amenities! Just bring food. Very clean and updated. You will not be disappointed with the view or sound of the waves crashing outside the windows. We slept soundly, snuggled in on the comfy bed. We loved making breakfast, while watching over the lake for ships and birds. Binoculars are a must! There are gardens throughout the property, with awesome perennials. Lots of chipmunks and rabbits running about, gathering food for the winter. There is a nice deck to sit on, overlooking Lake Huron or you can climb down the staircase to get a better look. There's 64 stairs and it's steep, but worth it. We met a nice couple at the community fire pit. I wish we brought steaks or hamburgers to grill. There is a gas and charcoal grill in the community area too. We were able to bring both of our Jack Russell's. There's a nice big area behind cabin #4, 5, 6 and 7 to walk your Doggo's, and a trash can in front of #5 to deposit dog waste. The cabins are 20 minutes north of Port Huron. It's far enough north, that you get that small town waterside feel to your stay. Again, we couldn't be happier and hope to be back sooner than later.”

“Port Sanilac Light House is Beautiful. You cannot go in it. It is privately owned but there is a great walking path on a break-wall that goes out in front of the lighthouse. There is a cute marina next door with a restaurant called The View. The food is good.”

“I cannot recommend this place enough! My husband and I stayed for two days to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The historic family farm house is beautifully decorated, the accommodations are wonderful (we stayed in the Maple Room), and breakfast is scrumptious, healthy, and filling! The owners are very personable and considerate. They are available if needed and provide little extras like community boardgames, movies, and snacks. If you are looking to get away and relax, I fully recommend you consider booking a room here.”

“Nadine and Dan are WONDERFUL hosts. All the rooms are beautiful, it's a charming home. There is an ice cream shop on the grounds as well as an antique shop with some beautiful finds. My husband and I have spent numerous weekends here and absolutely LOVE it. Highly recommend staying here for a romantic weekend getaway you won't be sorry. “This is an over priced trailer park. It hides behind a typical high end name of "estates" but it is a trailer park with some newer model mobile homes as well as modulars and some older trailers. If you're looking for over priced instead of a cheaper apartment try your search here. I recommend a mortgage for a home or a nice apartment prior to checking into this park.”
