I can in February of this year and it was about 20°F out. With the wind chill from the ice and water it felt bitter but the amazing view made it work it. I plan on coming back over the summer to get some pictures of the water. The view from the blue water bridge during the summer is also spectacular!
One of the oldest lighthouses!! Nice place to visit! Beach & park are nice too....not overly crowded.
This place is beautiful. I have to warn anyone going to the water area...take water shoes. The rocks hurt your feet, but the view is worth it. We even found sea-glass which we were obsessed with looking for.
Great views of the bottom of the lake. Nice town and clean near the lakeside.
Beautiful park with a shaded grassy area and a sandy beach where Lake Huron meets the river. The current is very strong here, so, even as a local, I didn't allow my kids to swim here until they were older and even then with a lot of caution. There are safer beaches for swimming nearby, but this is a great place for a picnic and boat watching.
