Beautiful place but closed for the winter. The hilly roads to get here were a bit scary. If it was snowing or other bad weather I probably would have turned back.
Nothing stopping you from walking around. There is a sound warning near the light house. I didn't bother going over the gate, didnt look very safe with the snow and ice.
There was another family that ventured up.
Becareful as there is nothing else around for awhile. The houses I passed and the one at the bottom of the hill I stopped to eat in front of were abandoned for the winter.
The journey from here to Saint John through the park was a bit scary too. Definitely make sure you leave with enough day light left to get to the main highway
Such a uniquely cool place! We went here after spending a couple hours at Hopewell rocks. We decided to picnic here and do some more exploring. Unfortunately it was a bit foggy during our trip, but we still enjoyed some tide pool hunting and exploring.
Beautiful views of the bay, challenging drive to get there, but completely worth it.
It was awesome! Such a beautiful place to visit.
Looking for a different experience that is quite the adventure for a family of four? We totally loved a different perspective of New Brunswick's coastline and Cape Rage's lighthouse while ziplining across the Cape the times each. The cost included entry $225.85 taxes in July 2019 for two adults and two youth. An unforgettable experience we'll never forget! Note: it's chilly in the morning! (Even in July.) Bring a sweater or light jacket. Reservations are recommended for the zipline, but we are early birds and were able to get the first run at 10am with a reservation only the night before.
