“Beautiful place but closed for the winter. The hilly roads to get here were a bit scary. If it was snowing or other bad weather I probably would have turned back. Nothing stopping you from walking around. There is a sound warning near the light house. I didn't bother going over the gate, didnt look very safe with the snow and ice. There was another family that ventured up. Becareful as there is nothing else around for awhile. The houses I passed and the one at the bottom of the hill I stopped to eat in front of were abandoned for the winter. The journey from here to Saint John through the park was a bit scary too. Definitely make sure you leave with enough day light left to get to the main highway”

“Such a beautiful area, the sheer force of the waves crashing on the beach combined with the imposing cliffs make for some stimulating views, walks and more. Parking was a little hard, with limited spots. The lighthouse was closed when we visited, and if you do decide to go all the way there be prepared for some traffic flow problems with people blocking the road.”

“Great spot tucked into the rolling hills along the Bay of Fundy! About 150 steps down to Dennis Beach. ASHAK is we'll equipped with almost everything you can think of! Our shack sleeps 11 so was plenty of roof for the four of us. Sofas are a bit firm and beds are firm and very warm. Nice touches throughout. Fresh flowers, s'mores kit and ample dry wood for camp fire! Everything was clean and tidy. Neighbouring ASHAK is likely the same. Will surely keep this place in mind for a longer stay next time!”

“What a delightful place! The owners are the host and hostess, and boy are they awesome. Terrific view of the bay, comfy suite, lots of interesting places to see, food to eat, etc. Cooking facilities, are super, suite is clean as a whistle. Host and hostess know the area cold, so we caught some things off the beaten path. Would go back in a heartbeat! We stayed in September '13, so our review is a bit tardy. Sorry; just forgot.. until we remembered what a good time we had”

“Well worth the stop to see Curtis and family in their wood fired glass blowing studio. It is quite uncommon to see wood fired these days and is a labor of love. You can watch Curtis blow glass and he has a shop show casing his work. Also many animals and trail down to two rivers nearby.”

“Amazing place to walk on the beach at low tide. Island hopping is super fun, you could spend the entire low tide just walking on the beach here and still not explore everything. Definitely recommend spending a couple hours walking the beach here, just make sure that you get back before the tide comes up as it can move pretty fast.”
