“Hello all. I recently came into the jean Coutu store. At the location near kings ice cream. I walked into the store and it was dirty. The store was absolutely ransacked and people standing around doing nothing. I have written this review, and a five star at that because of one worker. Her name was Sydney. Whilst all of her co-workers were goofing of doing jack all, Sydney was working away. she was serving all of the costumers, and was cleaning the store. I'd like this review to get recognition as well as Sydney for her very hard work. Its young teens like her that are going to carry our generation to the next. Have a good day all.”

But all associated were very nice and understanding. Turned out to be a pleasant first experience compared to other Jean Coutu I've been.”

“The medication they specialize in is just too expensive; For which I am sure the government is a factor. The problem is, if you have no coverage and little money, can't afford the NB Drug Plan, and are not on welfare or have a "white card", they will send you out the door soon enough. Where does this leave a patient? Back hustling for a dollar to get a pill to avoid that zombie-like withdrawal from the "medication" they have been on for various amounts of time(months-years) and are now physically and psychologically dependent on. Patients who are stable on the medication are not as likely to go out and beg bother and steal to get ten dollars a day for their medications, but when withdrawal and depression kick in post-methadone- who knows what could happen? I am behind in my payments over 100 dollars, and am very soon going to be expelled from the program. What am I to do? 3 years of progress down the drain.”

“The pharmacy staff are so friendly and helpful! If they don’t have what you are looking for they will get it In for you! I think it is amazing that she has satellite locations on First Nation reserves to serve community members as well! I have many clients who access this service and are very fortunate to have this offered to the community! The negative reviews, I am quite surprised by... and working in health care you can’t please everyone and often times patients/customers don’t like rules or how rules work which they retaliate back as not getting what they want etc which is unfortunate but it’s reality! The medicine shoppe miramichi has always been a great and friendly business and goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and education! Great job! You all are working through a pandemic and rarely recognized... so great job and thanks for all that you do! :)”
