“We went camping here in July. They have a Nature Center here which was really great for the kids and perfect for if the weather isn't great. They have a reading area with lots of books about animals and lots of other things about animals that was very hands on. The Nature Center staff were super: friendly, knowledgeable and good with kids and adults. The camping was nice and the playgrounds near the beach were beautiful and new. It was not a great beach for swimming-the water was a little rough and it's a shale beach so it was difficult for the younger kids (6 years and 3 years). When the water was calm it was fine. They had lots of activities available, e.g., eagle watching hike, dragon fly catching (and releasing), and a sand castle building contest and more that the kids really enjoyed.”
