Amazing. Best time to go is pre season. No charge for entry.
After the beach opens for the season there is a fee.
Very nice to walk and fish.
Don't feed the birds...
Great Place!!! We have been going for the past 7 years and it is Fantastic. They have campsites that have an old public beach so you have your own beach.
Nice park. Playgrounds. Swimming area. Boat launch. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Highly recommended.
Wonderful place and one of the best camping grounds. If you are lucky, you might as well camp by the water. Place is easily accessible to many grocery stories, so u dont have to worry about the supplies or gas. Camping here would also give you access to free parking at all the state parks in the vicinity.
I grew up on an island and I’m very used to beautiful saltwater beaches. When my friend said this was a great beach I did not believe her but rather than not doing anything I decided to go visit. I was pleasantly surprised at the crystal clear water and how much it resembles the beach from an island or somewhere like Miami. No I’m not talking about white sandy beaches with crystal blue water but super nice nonetheless. Big enough to fit a whole bunch of people. Tons of picnic tables, grills and shaded areas. Overall a great spot. Eight dollars per car to get in and many things to do once you’re inside the park area.
