Old Fort Niagara

I stumbled upon the fort somewhat by accident. But I'm glad that I found it and took the time to tour it. It is an amazing, historical site nearly three hundred years old. The architecture in stories of the fort are truly amazing, including it's most recent use in World War II. Easy to get to, E-Z Parking, smooth visitation all make for a wonderful visit. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and open to questions. This is certainly a place I will return and visit on my next trip to the Niagara Falls area.

Greetings from Michigan! The fort was interesting in a historical sense. Didn't go in the fort, but took pictures of it from the perimeter. The Fort Niagra State Park as a whole was nice. First time seeing and wading in Lake Ontario!

A very nice renovation of a historically significant fort. Museum was interesting although the video was not working this date. The park is a beautiful place to spend a day and get away from it all

The director of the Fort must be some sort of grandmaster for understanding how to make history come alive for the whole family. Between the daily presentations and the special occasions, the period costumes, the friendly and responsive *teaching* staff--these aren't just surly reenactment clods collecting a paycheck running around in costumes; these are teachers who are acting out object lessons with panache and joy--the experience is fun, thorough, educational, interesting, and most importantly, you'll want to do it again.

Plus, you can defend America from Canada.

Very nice place to visit. Mostly historical but my favourite thing was its lake. The lake view was just awesome. I would recommend to go in summer time. You will love it!!
