“We had such a lovely, relaxing stay here. We arrived late at night after taking the ferry from Portland, Maine, but Tanya welcomed us right away. It was a cozy, pretty room with a marvelous balcony. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and stunning sunsets there. Tanya went out of her way to make delicious gluten-free things for me for breakfast. I so appreciated it! We were able to readily visit Digby ( have scallops!) and Annapolis Royal. It’s secluded and peaceful, but easily accessible. Tanya was also really knowledgeable about all the nearby restaurants ( as well as in Halifax!), and gave us great recommendations.”

“I have been I to the shop several times now and love it on many levels, it is homely, welcoming and smells so good! A lovely array of products besides all the candles too…lots to tempt you!. Scent is such a personal thing but the scents at Back to our Roots just get me if that makes sense. I have tried 3 different ones so far In various forms and sizes and love them all….will be back for more quite frequently! Lovely friendly and knowledgeable service too. A complete joy!”

“Awesome experience! Highly recommend! When I walked in the front door I felt relaxed and at ease, even when I left after my appointment was done and have had four appointments since. The assistants and hygienists are friendly as well as Dr. Haslam, who was great with my fillings, I felt no pain or discomfort even when I got home! They were fast and on point and had me calm at all times, especially with the amazing view of the Annapolis basin. Will definitely be returning for more great service and dental work. We dropped our almost 5 month old puppy off for a day visit around 730am and picked him up close to 3pm.
