“A lovely beach along the Northumberland stright. A piping plover nesting site, there's plenty of information. But they ask not to walk too high up on the beach in the dry sand during nesting season.”

“The best museum. I had a personal tour with the curator. He was working and took the time to show me and three others the place.”

“Love this idea! Love this place! Spent some time here selecting approx $90 worth of chocolates for ourselves and friends. Great selection of a variety of flavours to accommodate different tastes. Looking forward to sampling them over the coming weeks while in Nova Scotia. Hoping they last till we get back home to Ontario. Fyi I follow you on Twitter and wish you all the best of success across Canada. Thank you for coming to Canada and giving us your gift of love and peace.”

“John and Chandra are fantastic hosts and guides. While my wife and I had both fished before, neither of us had ever tackled anything nearly as ambitious as Giant Bluefin Tuna. Our day on the boat was an amazing adventure. Chandra was wonderful instructor on the fine art of fighting an 800 lb fish for an hour. And John put us on fish all day and was exceptional driving the boat to help land the catch. The hospitality was A+, Chandra's food was great and the beer was ice cold. Couldn't ask for a better day - thrilling and exhausting. Highly recommend.”

“Great place to walk or hike with dogs or kids. The first loop is paved and then well maintained hiking loops. Appears to be a former provincial campground.”

“Nice short hike, a little hilly in some spots, but not too strenuous. Stairs down to the shore, you can walk along the beach and do fossil finding. There's a little waterfall off the beach side. We saw fish trying to jump up the falls. Great spot for kids, but not strollers. Picnic tables for snacks or lunch.”
