Admiral Digby Museum

Great place to visit for summary of local history. More than 8 rooms with different themes, fisheries, war room, the Digby famous, etc, plus a room of archives. Best to get tour guide. Big parking lot.

We wandered down to the museum while waiting for the ferry. Located in an old house each room had a different focus and distinctly different artifacts. Staff were very knowledgeable. We're glad we stopped in.

A really interesting little museum in a historic home with an attentive staff that knows their history. Each room has a theme and you can take a self-guided tour, watch a short film on the local maritime industry, visit the gift shop, and ask as many questions as you like! Well worth the visit.
