(December 15, 2018, 4:34 am)The 2 guys who helped gear me up with renting a electric guitar to practice with were awesome and helpful. One of them recommended me to try to learn to play right handed (I'm left) but it didnt work out so well due to a finger injury, and he mentioned I could return it for a left if need be. Went In today...a rather different experience which is why only 3 stars. The guy who helped me today seemed like he didn't really want to help me out with my exchange right from the start when he automatically assumed there was no lefty rentals and one of the ones who helped last night looked it up for me and found one. The other guy asked in kind of a rude way why I was returning it already after only having it for one day despite me telling the other about my issue with the right handed guitar.
He proceeded to ring it all in, and me not knowing anything about guitars I asked if it was pre tuned as the guys last night tuned the other for me and he basically talked to me like I was a moron and told me I had to tune it myself, which I then had to additionally buy a clip on tuner...Happy with last night's experience... not so happy with today's. Sorry!
(October 9, 2018, 11:59 pm)I had an awesome experience here today. The guy I dealt with was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and overall I was really impressed. I'm an L&M fan, but I hadn't spent much time in stores other than the Halifax shop.
Since they renovated and expanded, this place is REALLY coming into its own!
