“Nice place and atmosphere for formal and informal meetings, it is good for studying but can be very noisy at times. The drinks are great, they have a lot of various options of coffee, tea and other drinks that can also be vegan. You can ask them to put your drink in a mug if you want to reduce waste. Not sure if they have reusable cups for water.”

“Actually, this visit was somewhat pleasant. I usually avoid this location; they are known locally for their slow service and inaccurate orders. I arrived around 4:30 pm, walked right up, ordered and my meal was delivered to my table in less than 5 minutes. They seemed to have quite a few new employees on duty. Hopefully a sign of improving their local reputation??”

“I'll actually give here 3.5. Ate here for breakfast three times in the last year and twice got the 'Wake Me Up' Wrap ($7 egg, cheddar, salsa, avocado, black beans, corn, sour cream). It's delicious, full of toppings, but wrapped very tightly and well, as to not make a mess while you're eating it at all. That combined with any hot beverage would hit the spot for me. The maple latte I had yesterday with it was perfection. One other visit tried the 'Heart Stopper' ($8 bacon, egg, cheddar, tomato, green onion, pepper & mayo on a bagel) was very good too, just well made compared to other places. The cafe itself is very clean with probably seating for 20+, lots of natural lighting. You order at the counter and they give you a number to bring to your table. Friendly staff. I want to try a lot of their other menu items, so will be back.”

“I absolutely loved this place and the lovely owner Amal!!! We went there as a group for afternoon tea, and had the best view of Bedford Basin along with delicious pastries , desserts and flavorful teas serves in Fine China porcelains. This place is the ONLY place in Halifax that has High Tea tradition. Amal and her husband definetely created an amazing one of a kind atmosphere and I definetely recommend everyone to go ans try it out. They also have gorgeous hats to put on and to take pictures. Can’t wait to go again :)”
