“I have been to many Tim’s but this one was best so far. We had an issue with the drink which was wrongly prepared by one of the staff and we asked for new one to other staff. His name was Gaurav as I asked him. He was so humble, best part was he apologize so sincerly and made us a fresh new drink very quickly with a smile. It was not even his fault but he fixed for us. We loved the service ❤️”

“This is actually a vacation home type accommodation. Only 2 rooms available above a cafe. We seamlessly booked online, got the code for the door by email and had no problems. The room was modern, large, clean, and quaint, being in a loft type room (lots of light through many windows). Across the street from a grocery chain and down half a block you find the Barrington Trail, which was a lovely quiet hike along the shore and through trees. The only regret is that the cafe didn’t open until 10 and my dream of walking downstairs in my slippers to get a fresh latte was dashed- we had to hit the road. Next time we will stay longer!”

“Ordered a burger from Coal Miners over the holidays and wow, very impressive in size and taste. I had the mountie burger with fries which are freshly cut, the burger was so tasteful and big I could barely finish it. I made the effort to eat the burger and have my fries last, which I didn't finish. The amount of food you get for the price is so worth a stop and eat in or take out. The staff are very friendly and helpful, very typical of a small town and especially Cape Breton. Highly recommended for either breakfast, lunch or supper and evening snacks.”

The Christmas decorations were lovely. Pretty simple looking from the outside but a great experience overall. If we lived here, we would return again and again. Our kind of place!”

“This was a reasonable meal in this small town. It was pretty quiet when we dined very early evening, but the staff were friendly and they had a good IPA available as well as a non-alcoholic beer. My wife had the blackened haddock which she said tasted good (we didn't know what to expect from the description but it wasn't blackened in colour in any way). However, her accompanying fries were only lukewarm (she wanted the fish and wasn't bothered about the fries). I had a vegetarian pizza, which was nice. A reasonable meal for what seems like a reasonable price around here.”
