“Christmas Eve 2018 and I went in for a part for my Samsung stove as it failed and I wasn't able to cook turkey dinner. So, over to "Reliable Parts" I go and deal with Rick at the parts counter initially who went out of his way to try and find me the part I needed. Because of the way the parts were listed with Samsung the part couldn't be found and I ended up back over the bridge without the piece. Before I left I spoke to John who manages the Dartmouth location and he said he would look into it. I thought that was a nice gesture and I'd probably get the part in the new year if I was lucky. Within a half an hour John had called me back on my cell phone saying that he had the part after doing some research and found a match. Back over the bridge I went to get the part. Here's the catch. These guys shut down at 3 p.m. Christmas Eve. John stayed there until 4 in order to find me this part because he knew that I needed it to cook the family turkey dinner. Now that is customer service in my view! First time I've dealt with these guys and I have to say that their staff is second to none. It is disappointing that we have to get parts for these "disposable appliances" that we buy today but I am glad there is a place like Reliable Parts in Burnside that has staff like Rick and John looking out for us when we need them! They were under no obligation to do what they did - but did it anyway. Merry Christmas to all of them!”
