“With some time to 'kill' in halifax, we decided to wander through this old cemetery. I have walked by many times but never went it. Viola Desmond is buried here and there is a sign marking the spot. I also saw Alexander Keith's grave. The graveyard is very interesting with many old markers that are in bad shape, but many more recent. It is a lovely spot to wander through.”

While Fairview Lawn (just down the road) has a more prominent memorial to the Titanic victims, the section in this cemetery for Titanic is very small and simple. For any enthusiasts, I think it's still worth a quick visit and there will be some names here that you may recognize.”
