Extremely comfortable stay with a extra comfy tent with two queen beds and a stove, we'll set up site with cooking station and fire and all the luxuries of having wood ready next to the fire, plenty of chairs, coffee and cooking utensil. The Peak is also beautiful with a nice lake for a swim, and common outdoor area to enjoy games at, and with plenty of nature in every direction.
It can only get better as a comfortable experience with the addition of cabins, hot tub, spa, trails, etc. Will be back in a few months.
We had so much fun. For me not ever sleeping in a tent and only having to bring food and clothes was right up my alley. There was a BBQ, propane burners, utensils, pots, pans, olive oil, warm soft beds in a huge canvas tent with board games, a porti-poti with a sink and soap. Also there is lake only 2 min away where we tried paddle boarding for the first time as well. Thank you Porter's Peak for making my experience memorable.
If you’re looking for a serene getaway, in the most beautiful and comfortable tents ever: check out porters peak!
The sights are breathtaking, the owners are wonderful and super responsive, and it’s such a chill place. The perfect getaway only 40 mins away from Halifax.
Check out their website and social media for great pictures of their accommodations and surroundings (oops I didn’t take many pics and enjoyed time tech free!)
FANTASTIC just what I needed ⛺️😌. I stayed in the "Free Spirited" bell tent. It was so beautifully decorated, nice breeze flowed though making for a very comfortable sleep. Everything you need was provided including quality linens, a bbq and 2 propane cook tops, dishes, pots and pans and water. We had a private beautiful path to the water where we could sit at night and gaze at the stars 🌟 specular view. I will definitely be recommending Porter's Peak to all my family and friends. Can't wait to come back and try the cabins or geothermal domes coming in the fall. This is my new getaway spot.
Beautiful location with a fantastic getaway vibe. The finishing touches are fantastic and the care put into everything is very apparent. Nice lake and lake amenities (sup boards, floaties, etc.) and really cool canvas tents. Comfy stay and a great experience for anyone wanting to escape the city. Would highly recommend!
