“Note: If you have a weekend pickup and the door is locked — make sure you knock hard on the glass so they can hear you inside. We had an issue with getting the right vehicle but Elisha helped us get it sorted it out. She did a great job and was very helpful. The staff at the Marriott were great as well. Update: Knocking this down 1 star as there was no one at the location when we returned the car (3pm on a Monday) and the signage of where to park the vehicle was unclear.”

“Booked through easycar as cheapest option in terminal. Picked up quickly, paid price agreed, and delivery back very quick and efficient. Chap gave me a receipt at the car showing no damage or charges. I think those with bad experiences don't understand the rules of car rental. Check the car over carefully on collection, and get proof of check when you drop it off. Then deliver it back with a full tank, covered in mud, and the seats covered in an inch of crumbs.”

“Frequent business traveler, and I rent from all the majors. When I flew into Halifax late evening, they upgraded me to an SUV. Nice. When I returned the car, there was a significant up-charge for additional miles (I drove to Sydney and back). When I spoke to the manager, he was VERY helpful, found where the miscommunication was, and credited my bill for the difference. GREAT attention to customer service. I really appreciated the follow up and resolution. Will definitely rent there again. BTW-upcharge was reasonable, but unexpected per my original agreement. Good service and support. Nice selection of vehicles too.”

“I rent a few times a year from the Halifax Airport and I have to say I think all of the Alamo reps are great. Cars are clean, gassed up and if one is not available an alternate in a higher class is always offered. They are fast and efficient on pick up and return. I have rented at other Alamos in the states and Quebec and not found the same results so I just have to tag the Halifax crew and say it is always a pleasure!”

“There's not much to be said here. Service was fairly slow, but that was more the fault of the chatty people in front of us rather than the workers. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The only real issue was that navigating to the exit from where the rentals were parked was confusing. Some more signage and pavement markings would have been helpful.”

The Branch Manager called me the day before my rental to make sure I knew how to find them, as their signage hasn’t all been put in place. On top of great service, they have terrific pricing. They are easy to get to, located less than a minute from the 102, near Sobeys Peakview. If you need a rental car or truck, this is the place to go!”
