“First of all Dave and Donna are the nicest people EVER! We were visiting from the states and Canadians are just the nicest people ever! Dave went out of his way multiple times to help us out. We stayed for two nights during stormy weather on a bicycle tour around Cape Breton, and what a treat! We loved the Mabou River Inn and we loved Mabou. Our room (#7) was clean, beautiful and with a very comfortable bed; bathroom was just across the hall, also immaculately clean and spacious. Laundry and a kitchenette with fridge came in handy. The full breakfast was delicious and made to order! I think we ate three meals at the Red Shoe Pub and saw music on two nights- so much fun! Great little grocery store in town and we enjoyed the beach at West Mabou park. Highly recommend this town and definitely stay at the Inn!”

“Can not stop talking about John Allan's Last Show. There were four of my brothers and four of my sisters (wives and husbands as well) took the show in over the past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Oh what talent and can appreciate ALL the work that went into this. It would be difficult to pick out who stood out cuz you all stood out and you can ALL give yourselves a pat on the back.
