Our booking was made through a third party site, on arrival there was a slight mix up, but the owner Tim was on top of sorting it out and getting us squared away in the proper room. With unseasonably warm weather, we opted for a room with a balcony and were lucky to have an amazing view of the harbour. The hotel is centrally located, easy walk to so many restaurants and of course the Waterfront. Parking available on the street, no issue for us being low season, might not be as easy a find in peak season. No issues with the room, bed was the comfortable and bathroom was adequate. We'd definitely consider staying here again and recommend a balcony suite if staying here.

My parents decided to treat themselves to a much delayed honeymoon in Halifax and were so excited. They are also from the midwest and did not think to consider hurricanes as a possibility while in Halifax. Long story short, Fiona came through and their Airbnb's were canceled on them, they had no power, and no idea where to go. I reached out to Alice and she had a room booked for them in minutes. My mom has said the service was wonderful and being able to get a room here saved their trip. Highly highly recommend!!

Was surprised we were able to get a number of consecutive nights in July 2022 with only booking a couple of weeks in advance. Easily found - property was spotless, with seemingly a new coat of paint outside. Love the colourful buildings in Lunenburg! Had a comfortable top-floor room overlooking the harbour - great views to wake up to, and watch the sunset from the balcony. Great night sleep as well - we like quiet! May even consider returning here outside the tourist season when the town isn't so busy. The only drawback was parking - it is what it is. Limited on-street parking with meters (free at night) but did find space on some of the unmetered side streets. At checkout I found the street quiet with space, so was easy to get our bags back to the vehicle.

The owner, Tim, was extremely helpful and took the time to share his knowledge of the area with us. His staff were equally attentive: one of them noticed the box of herbal tea I bought and the next morning there was a selection she left in our room! The beds were very comfortable and they even put an extra chair on our balcony for my mother. Just so focused on meeting our needs and making it the best stay of our Nova Scotia vacation. We will be sure to come again Tim! 😊
