The service and wait staff are second to none. We had Jo and she was one of the best servers at a restaurant I’ve had. So engaged and fun. I even noticed the other wait staff and how happy they all were and fed off each other in a really positive way. The owner must have created a really great culture at their workplace. Great job.
The food and wine was great. Just a fun casual hangout with friends and family. I loved how they never rushed us. Just a great experience all around.
I think the photos speaks for itself. Let's start with the atmosphere: cozy yet elegant, the garden in the summer is beautiful and the wood burning oven with windows is an amazing addition to the already unique building that was once an Art gallery. The staff is VERY VERY nice and believe it or not BETTY is here in the flesh! So she is not only a name on a sign. She is lovely and very personable. The food: we came here for the pizza and I guess the photo speaks for itself. I didn't even think to take a photo of the pizza, it wouldn't do justice to it and it smelled so good that I all I could do was eat it!! So a photo of how much pizza I left says it all! The pizza was cooked to perfection, not burnt, not undercooked, just right. Goldie locks would be happy!
If you are looking for an amazing place to have an unforgettable meal in a very chill and beautiful environment, with amazing staff and ,did I mention they grow their own veggies (yes, they grow most of their veggies!!!), this is the place to go.
What a lovely little spot! I've been to Mahone Bay several times but always dined by the water. Luckily my partner suggested this place out of the blue and I'm so happy we checked it out.
We asked to be seated outside which was a great choice because the live music was phenomenal and it was beautiful and peaceful out there.
We started with buffalo chicken dip (amazing) as well as spicy olives (they have some kick!) And the brushetta bites.
For the main course, which is a selection of pizzas, we decided on the Broderick.
My only advice is definitely try the maple siracha! It's incredible. Also, the pizza was so good that we ordered a second one immediately after finishing the first.
Oh wow - this place did not disappoint! We were staying at one of the Kitch'inn's accommodations for a girls weekend away in Mahone Bay and upon reading their website and menu, knew we had to eat here our first night. The food is great, the staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful. We loved dinner so much - we each got a pizza and shared - that we made sure to come back for brunch the next morning... and again had a wonderful experience. We can't wait to come back!
A wonderful new (late 2021) place to hang out on the South Shore. The place has a welcoming, chilled out vibe... but somehow also manages to feel chic. It's open late, has a great wine selection and, to top it off, a wood-fired pizza oven. You should go there immediately.
