(July 9, 2022, 4:03 am)What a heavenly place! It's a joy to kayak here and see the boats in the marina. You can also swim, attend concerts on certain nights, walk on the rocky shore of the bay, and more! The campground looks completely full. How lucky people are who get those spots!
(July 2, 2022, 9:02 pm)Lion's Head is one of my favourite places to visit and the beach park is no exception.
The beach is beautiful and sandy with a good mixture of sun and shade. In early July the water is very cold, but warms up as the season goes on.
Public bathrooms are available and are relatively clean.
On Saturday mornings in the summer there's a farmers market on the beach full of wonderful people selling some amazing local goods, I particularly like the bakeries and goat/beef farmers that show up.
(June 11, 2022, 12:31 pm)Very cute little campground with the sand beach and kids playground just steps away. Rock beach on the grounds but the camp area is grass. Has picnic benches and a fire pit at each site. Head office is at the marina. Bathrooms and beach are accessible friendly.
