“I spent 3 nights with my friends at this amazing and peaceful place. Every staff member I encountered are welcoming and friendly and took that extra time to ensure your holiday is just perfect. We’ve rented Shipwreck RV and the vintage blue RV separately and the amenities on the site are clean and tidy just as it’s shown in the pictures. The RV is equipped with all cooking utensils (pots, pans, cutting board, knives, plates, cups, cutlery, etc.) and salt, pepper, and olive oil. You have an access to your own private washroom inside the RV which was super convenient. The place is located for easy access to Tobermory, the Grotto, Lion’s Head, etc., however, we didn’t explore much of the area but decided to just sit and enjoy the peace. Thanks for such a memorable experience! We truly had nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. We will definitely be back again!”

“Stayed at one of the GLAMPING CABINS and had a GREAT time! Washrooms were extremely CLEAN and serviced every day, owners were very friendly, and we had a lovely experience. Our cabin area had comfortable queen bed & pillows, warm blankets, shower towels, shampoo / conditioner, a firepit, and two Muskoka chairs. Lots of outdoor games (lawn bowling, croquet) and board games also available for borrow. Only a 25 min drive to Tobermory. Ya gotta stay here! Thank you Don & Pauline for your amazing hospitability and service!”

“Had a wonderful time at Lakeside Camp. Owners were great to deal with and the campground is well maintained. Clean washrooms and friendly people. Site was great for my tent trailer but may not be suitable for large RVs. You're just across the road from Lake Heron's beautiful sunsets and only 10 minutes to the town of Lion's Head. Tons to do in the area too! Will definitely be going back.”

Bruce Peninsula National Park

“Serene and the best place for clear waters in Ontario. Enjoy the views of Lake Huron and take a nice swim during summers. I stayed in a yurt near cypress lake and enjoyed every bit of it. Though grizzly bears and rattle snakes were spotted, fortunately for me and my gang, we didn't :) I suggest always travel in groups but don't miss the fun”

Tamarack Campsites

Address: 469 Cyprus Lake Rd, Tobermory, ON N0H 2R0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park Point of interest Establishment

“Very close to Grotto at a walking distance. The campsite was very clean and close to Cyprus lake. The washrooms are very well maintained and cleaned up regularly. We hiked until the Grotto and spent the entire day swimming and watching around. The sunset was very beautiful and we were lucky to have clear skies for star gazing at night.”

Cyprus Lake Campground

Address: 469 Cyprus Lake Rd, Tobermory, ON N0H 2R0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park Point of interest Establishment

“The area in itself is beautiful. The lake water was very clear and blue, and the grotto was absolutely stunning!! The walk to the lake is super cute and they made sure to set up benches and restrooms for breaks on the way. As for the campground itself, don't expect privacy, not even remotely. This is not the place to go if you're after a quiet natural camping experience. The sites seemed way too close to each other, we could easily see and hear everyone's conversations and people were not shy about making loud noise until midnight. This place would be more suitable for large groups that are planning on staying up late and not mind other loud large groups next to them, or if you feel safer camping with a bunch of people around you. The site is set up quite nicely though, depending on your site. They got couple of picnic tables and a designated fireplace/grill. The fire wood was however disappointing, most of it was spongy and moist. Pros: - beautiful views and walks - clean and maintained area - convenient for people who want an easy camping experience -easily accessible sites Cons: - alot of fees (wood 13$/night, reservation fee, camping fee, park entry fee) - sites WAY too closely packed together - can't bring your own wood - not for people who want a peaceful quiet time or privacy. I felt like i was next to a bar most of the time, especially during "quiet hours". Would I come back again? No. Maybe just to go to the lake but not for a camping night.”

Birches Campsites- Bruce Peninsula National Park

Address: 469 Cyprus Lake Rd, Tobermory, ON N0H 2R0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park Point of interest Establishment

“Amazing campground, it's absolutely beautiful with a great view of the sunset. I go with my family every year and it's a blast every time. The lake is quite rocky so I strongly recommend bringing water shoes, however, my experience this year was great as always. The birches campsites are a closer walk to the Grotto than the Tamarack campsites, however the walk is fairly easy with some boardwalk areas. Overall I had an absolutely amazing time and will definitely be returning next year!”

Poplars Campsite

“We camped at poplar camp ground here at cypress lake. Office staff specially "Jodi" very friedly and not rushing. He was given us options available during the day and hacking trails difficulty levels etc. Hub/ experience center/ comfort station located Walking distance from the camp. Shower, toilet, shelter, wifi and play area with TT table available. They provide barcode for the entrance to the camp ground. Experience was positive.”

Summer House Park

Campground Lodging Meal takeaway Park Restaurant Point of interest Establishment Food

“The camp ground that has everything you need! Such a great place for families. We have stayed at several of the unserviced lots on water side - A6 A7 are gems and our favorite! It's a shared lot right at the waters edge so nice to have your own spot on the water. Some rocks and mucky sand, shallow with a dock. The grounds are great! There is always some activities for kids or adults. Nice courts, playgrounds, pool tables..anything you could want! We had multiple ice cream visits at the store (which honestly has everything you could need should you run out of basics) and enjoyed pizza from the cafe. The kids always want to visit the inflatables which can be challenging for all!”

Stormhaven Backcountry Campground

Address: Canada, Northern Bruce Peninsula, ON N0H 2R0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park Point of interest Establishment

“If you're looking for a quiet nsck country camping spot with a relatively short hike in - this is the place! Gorgeous views! The flat rocks make for a great cooking/eating/hang out spot. The campsites have tent platforms which is great since it's so rocky. There is also a wepl maintained and clean outhouse. The hike from Head of Trails is about 4km and is quite hilly and rocky along the beach. It's a beautiful hike. You can get to the Grotto within an hour from the campsite but it's honestly really busy and crowded. Might be nicer to just hang out and swim at Stormhaven or hike more back country trails.”

Halfway Log Dump Parking

Address: Halfway, Log Dump Rd, Tobermory, ON N0H 2R0, Canada

Park Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“This is NOT the parking lot to see the grotto. We ended up hiking for 5.5 hrs out and back to the grotto and it was a different terrain to do within the alloted timeslot. The hike was beautiful and there were a few spots where we had access to turquoise water without any people around. The view points along the way were breathtaking. Do carry a lot of water with good hiking boots.”

Halfway Log Dump

Address: Bruce Trail, Northern Bruce Peninsula, ON N0H 2R0, Canada

Park Point of interest Establishment

“Great place to get outside. Start off with a Part of the Halfway Log dump Is part of the Bruce Peninsula nation park system. It’s a 900 m stroll to the beach, then challenge your agility walking on a rock beach. Follow the beach north about 100 meters and to cliffs of the Niagara escarpment. Great fun for kids and those at heart. Also, came across a couple that brought their “bouldering” gear. They said the rocks were for intermediate to advanced.”

High Dump Backcountry Campground

Address: Miller Lake, ON N0H 1Z0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park Point of interest Establishment

“I personally don't love how close together the campsites are. The beach is beautiful, but you need shoes, those rocks are not pleasant on your feet! Bruce Trail in is a rocky ride, the other trail option seems pretty easy.”

Forty Hills Ranch

Address: 217 Forty Hills Rd, Lion's Head, ON N0H 1W0, Canada

Park Point of interest Establishment

“Such a unique and fun experience! My friends and I booked on a whim and it made our whole trip up to Tobermory. We're so glad we went, you get to meet the Llama's and Alpacas. We took out the boys (Alpacas), you get to go out on a few trails around their property, they adjust the trail severity depending on skill level and honestly Keith and Mary were so kind an knowledgeable. Once you come back you get to meet all the other animals and feed them lunch, Shania and Reba the sheep's were so cute. Highly recommend. You won't find something like this anywhere else.”

Lion’s Head Lookout Trail Parking

Address: McCurdy Drive Parkette, Bruce Trail, Lion's Head, ON N0H 1W0, Canada

Park Point of interest Establishment Tourist attraction

“The views of the limitless Georgian Bay are stunning. A hike best done on a clear summer day. The entire hike is under a green canopy. The lookouts get better and better till you reach the best at the Lions Head. The turquoise waters below are tempting but unreachable (at least till the Lions Head). The "keyhole" at the Head is mesmerizing. Make sure you book the parking a few days in advance and wear good grippy shoes as half the time you will be stepping on rocks and roots.”

“Very good experience at this camping! Everything was clean and well maintained. Public showers and toilets were frequently cleaned. The owners were very kind and consummer friendly. They offer many free activities, furnishing the material for, making it family friendly. Each spot is furnished with hydro and electricity, with a fire pit. It's easy to rent kayaks and canoe. The location is ideal, in a quiet, full of nature place along the shore of a lake (warm in summer) and not far from the Lake Huron shores. I definitely recommend this place.”
