“Great and interesting place. Important history spot for those who are interested in learning about underground railroad. I just wish they did more preservation though. It's sad to see farming lands took over. But that's what it is.”

“Great little Museum. The Walking Tour is a great addition. Unfortunately the city is good at tearing down old buildings however it is very interesting to see where things were and envision old Chatham. They also have a BIG family history collection which is awesome for those who love genealogy, students and researchers. The staff is very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and if they didn’t know an answer they would look it up to find out the correct information. VERY well organized research centre. Definitely recommend visiting here.”

“Small but very informative, well laid out and clean. It would be nice if the staff knew more of the local history or the artifacts that they display. The young man was new and used this to explain away his lack of knowledge . It is well worth the trip. I'll go again, and I'm hard to please.”
