“Completed the House of Sophrosyne’s Full Time Virtual program. It was a 4 week program and we met M-F from 9:30am-12pm. Rachel was our counsellor and I cannot say enough positive things about her. She was so caring and kind, and helped the girls in the group form an amazing bond. The program helped me talk about things I have never had an opportunity to talk about, and gave me many mental tools to use during my recovery. I am very thankful for her support, she is a wonderful counsellor and I would recommend her to anyone who has experienced trauma. The only thing I wish was that the program was longer than 4 weeks. The at-home virtual setting was great because it allowed treatment to be at my own pace and also allowed me to adapt my newly learned habits in my current living environment. I am forever grateful to Rachel for the service she provided, and for the girls I connected with during the program. I really feel like attending was the kick start I needed to change my life for the better.”

“My dad has been at Cardinal place for about 6 months. I was very nervous at first but it turned out to be a fantastic decision. It is privately owned, they clearly care about the people and its small enough that the staff knows everybody. They have a great level of staff at all times and not like some of the horror stories I have heard elsewhere. I got calls whenever there were any health issues with my dad. It is clean and well maintained. They provide many services that other facilities would nickle and dime you on (TV, wifi, laundry, occasional extra support). The cost is very reasonable compared to others. The rooms are on the small side but it hasn't bothered my dad. I highly recommend it!”
