“I find that St. Matthew’s is a very welcoming, kind and loving parish community – a true exemplification of the term parish “family”. The church building itself is bright and cheery….as are the wonderful parishioners. The Sunday Services are extremely meaningful, inspiring, and inclusive. The parish outreach projects are many and ‘many’ are involved in volunteering. The Rector, the Reverend Andreas Thiel, is deeply spiritual, engaging and pastoral. His sermons are so well grounded and meaningful to today and he never misses an opportunity to celebrate his parishioners. And speaking of ‘celebration’, there is always a reason to gather in the parish hall after the Service, usually, just for coffee, goodies and friendship…..but more often than not, with a celebration ‘cake’. I feel so blessed, grateful and proud to be part of ‘all of it’.”
