Heron Management have been a great first landlord company for me. My apartment had a lot of historic charm complete with new furnishings to make a very comfortable living space. Signing the contract was easy and uncomplicated, and all the staff members were very personable towards me. Heron Management was easy to contact, and always followed up with conversations I started about concerns or any problems with the rental unit. I felt safe and secure renting from Heron Management, there was never any worry about agreements falling through or unexpected changes taking place. The photos of the apartment's listing were pretty accurate and reliable. I had a bit of an issue with mice as the property was old, but Heron Management were quick to put measures in place to manage the problem so I didn't have to get my hands dirty. They were a great landlord service for students and young professionals. I will definitely be looking into renting from Heron Management again soon.
Heron was great to work with. Emma was my point of contact, and she was always friendly and highly responsive - I could always expect a reply the same day. Any maintenance requests were handled swiftly, no matter how urgent. Public spaces in the building were always clean and maintained. It's really nice knowing your landlord is on your side - thank you Emma and Heron for a great 2.5 years!
One of the best Property Management companies i've lived at while in Kingston. Every issue was fixed within a matter of days when it occurred, while having timely and reliable contact with us at all times! They were never hard to reach when something needed to be solved. Thanks for everything!
For three years I lived in one section of a quad-plex managed by Heron. They were very responsive to any issues I had, whether these had to do with maintenance, payment, issues in the shared parking lot, or anything else; requests and inquiries were responded to promptly and effectively. In winter, front walkway and back driveway was shoveled/plowed regularly, and grass cut regularly in summer. No complaints. Very good experience. Would recommend.
I have lived as a tenant for several landlords but none compare to Heron Management! Every single problem that we encountered throughout the year was dealt with immediately, and they have been incredibly friendly and timely throughout all of their communications. Thank you so much!
