Great place to raise a family...
Very quiet and clean buildings
I'd like to respond to the "bed bug epidemic".
First of all it's not an epidemic. Secondly the situation was in a small area with only a few apartments affected and dealt with with very promptly and extremely well. The thousands of dollars it took to rid these apartments by way of having professionals in to deal with it AND paying for hotel housing! The stress on both people residing and the co op managment was incredible! No matter where you reside in any city these things happen.
I have lived here many years and it's a shame that the biggest problem we as a Co-op experience is accepting people in that don't have respect for their environment both inside their apartments and outside area. This is a Co-Op. That means you are apart of a community. Sadly this over the years has become less and less. It would be wonderful to have anyone apply that gets that!
Respect is all we ask for. Also this is a non violent community where harassment and discrimination is not acceptable!
