I have gone more then once with my kids full of interesting stuff educational but alot of don't touch lol there are a few things the kids can interact with but it's a small place
We love going to this museum when in Kingston. Lots of information to read. Lots to learn. We have found the staff really friendly.
What a cool little gem of a place, right in the middle of the faculty of geology at Queen's. We spent a great couple of hours wandering through an exhibit ram packed with information and every kind of rock & crystal. A neat section on dinosaurs, too.
Interesting museum inside Queen university. The staff there is very friendly. She shows us the amazing rock zoom in everything. They also sells minerals cheap and cool.
We spent five days here with Beyond Classrooms and couldn't have asked for a better person to spend our time with. Mark, The curator of The Miller Museum of Geology, is incredibly knowledgeable and personable, there wasn't a question he couldn't answer! It may be a small museum but the quality is fantastic. I have never held a meteorite before and to hold the largest ever recovered was an amazing experience! I was very impressed with the quality of the exhibits and attention to detail that has been put into them. The augmented reality sand box is unbelievable and just goes to show how much care and effort is put into this museum. A little gem, hidden in Queens but a real must see.
