“Metro in chelmsford is a great store with great price. In comparison to Independent, metro seems to take pride in their produce section. They have a large selection of fresh products with a great staff always willing to help anyone. I went shopping here today and was greated by a kind young lady in produce who also helped me to find everything I needed to make my stew! So pleased with the service in every department of this store.”

“Used to love this place, but it has gone downhill in terms of customer service. Since the renovations and the new layout, try finding someone to ask where an item is located. Also, the new self serve checkouts are horrible. Get rid of them and add more cashiers. Speaking of cashiers, an honourable mention goes out to Kerri. She is always so polite and friendly and well kept. Always a smile on her face and interacts well with customers. Very witty sense of humour. I have seen her get disrespected by rude customers and she handles herself well.”
