“After a terrible stay at a nearby lakeside Inn, my family and I desperately needed a pick-me-up. We were so fortunate to discover Rise and Roam Coffee. Hannah was kind and thoughtful, offering my daughter mini versions of the drinks she was considering to make sure she would be happy with her selection, "Mom this is seriously the best hot chocolate. It's ready to drink right away!" Thank you for providing a kid friendly beverage that was just the right temperature! My iced maple oat milk latte was incredible! Leagues better than Starbucks and much more affordable!! All the treats we tried (a butter tart, pumpkin scone, apple muffin, and double chocolate muffin) were fresh and delicious! “Water access trail leading to the Bear mountain lookout point. Beautiful scenic trail for moderate hiking activity. Limited boat parking by trying off to a tree on the shoreline. Crown land, please be respectful of hikers, boaters and the environment. Although the trail never officially closes, hiking in winter or after dark is not advised. No washrooms”

“Hollow Valley Resort was wonderful to discover! After extensive renovations, it reopened and has become a gathering place for locals and cottagers from all over. The rooms are modern and sparkling, while the bar and live music experience is phenomenal. The location in Dorset is great as a 'home base', from which to explore the environs. “Brian did excellent work on my condo renovation. He did all the electrical installation, panel upgrading with overall search protection, and rewired the whole kitchen. He installed pot lights in the cathedral ceiling, 2 ceiling fans, under cabinet lighting, three way switches and dim controls. Some of the additional work he completed was tiling the backsplash, replacing trim and baseboard, and installing new flooring. I am very pleased with his quality of work and the final product which looks stunning. I appreciated that he looked after all the permits and organized the inspections.”

“I visited Dimensions in the Summer of 22 and the location along the lake is automatically welcoming and soothing as is the staff. I found my time there to be transformative. The 5-star accommodations are just that touch of luxury that allows you to enjoy the outside, inside on the most comfortable mattress ever. At every turn you’re immersed in nature. The sound baths were healing, therapeutic and relaxing to the point you can’t believe how quickly an hour can fly by. I had a great time mentally. Last but not least is the food. The food was not only bursting with flavour & colour, it was all locally sourced. Kudos to Chef and her team. Thank you Dimensions for a spectacular experience that will be with me for a lifetime.”

“We try to do this trail every year, a real gem of the park! We stick to the traditional route entering through the entrance, although we notice many people enter through the exit as it’s an easier climb to the peak with a wood staircase to aid the ascent. It took us 1h 35min to complete the trail this year walking quickly and stopping briefly at the top for photos. It’s a bit of a steep incline to the top but very doable. Once at the lookout above you can see the beauty of the park for miles! A great spot to stop, have a snack and enjoy the beautiful fall colours. Additionally, the exit of the trail is very easy to navigate as it’s relaxing walk along a beautiful beach shoreline. We will continue to do this trail every year as it gives us the best bang for our buck. Shorter and easier to navigate than Centennial Ridges with one of the best views in the park as your payoff.”
