Sandy Lane Resort

Surprised to hear any kind review about the ownership being rude. We have stayed at this resort on a few different occasions. We have found both Rob and his wife to be more than accommodating to any of our requests. We too had lost a booking due to COVID, and understand the frustration, but it is unreasonable to think that the small businesses should take the loss, and still they offered a credit that we could use in the next 18 months.

Also would like to add that we have friends that have stayed with Sandy Lane Resort and have enjoyed the same beyond the call of service that we received.

We went up with the family prior to provincial lock downs. It was an amazing get away. The kids love the fact that there was a toboggan run and a skating rink. The cabin was clean (as always) and the personal hot tub was just the relaxation we needed during these unprecedented times.
Can’t wait to go back in the summer!

This was our families 4th stay at Sandy Lane and certainly wont be our last. This was our first time visiting in the winter and we were blown away with the things to do. From our deck hot tub to the skating and tobogganing onsite my kids were thrilled and enjoyed every minute. As usual our cottage was clean and rustic. We didn't have any issues at all but felt completely confident that if any issue did arise it would have been addressed immediately as the owners are always available. We will definitely be adding a winter trip to Sandy Lane along with our yearly summer visit. Thanks again for all your hard work to keep this place perfect for our family getaway.

Great resort! Well taken care of by the resort owners and staff. Accommodations were excellent and the hot tub was a bonus! Lots to see and do in and around the resort including a skating rink! Perfect getaway and an easy drive from Toronto.
