Stouffer Mill Bed & Breakfast

Hosts are very lovely. Nothing to complain here. Would go back or recommend in a heartbeat.

My dear Friend asked me to choose any place to go away, for a weekend, in celebration of my 60th Birthday. For totally selfish reasons I asked if we could go to Stouffer Mill. My Brother and I had sent our Parents there after my Dad had recovered from a stroke about 16 years ago, and hey had come back from that Weekend with tales of the most beautiful building, the warmest of Hosts and the most wonderful, excellent meals. With my Father now almost completely lost to Dementia and my Mom Tragically dying earlier this year, I wanted to feel closer to them, by taking a journey to this wonderful place. I wanted to see what they saw and feel what they felt and we were not disappointed. Stouffer Mill was truly a Magical place. Don and Jesse both greeted us with the simple warmth of their most beautiful place, and their most amazing story of how this place came to be. If you come to their Mill at night you will have one more gift to experience, after sleeping in their warm and cozy beds, and that is the view. Looking out from Stouffer Mill will take your breath away. The very top of the mill has 360 degree view which gives you the feeling that you are in a lighthouse, and there is a hot tub up there just to add to your delight. Thanks to my Wonderful Friend Diane and the owners of this wonderful place, Jesse and Don, my Journey was realized, and we have decided to return to this place, as a new tradition, once a year. But this was my journey, and you will come for your own reasons and heal, if you need to, in your own ways.

I've been here during summer and Fall, that did not let me down, even with lots of rain. Fantastic breakfasts!!

A lovely getaway experience. Amazing view of the lake. Stars everywhere on a clear night. Incredibly friendly hosts. We loved every moment of it and will be back again for sure.
