The Pines on Boshkung Cottage Resort

If you want to get away and enjoy some country cabin life there's no better place than here. The owners take special pride in making sure your needs are met and you enjoy your stay. Boshgung lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Ontario You will be Grateful taking in the western sunsets from the Pines on Boshgung !

We stayed at Cottage #1 - The Pines of Boshkung this December. This is a beautiful place overlooking the Boshkung Lake. Never thought the view of the lake can be this so breathtaking especially when it has snow.

The Cottage #1 we stayed in has 2 bed rooms. 1 bedroom is a Queen Sized bed. The other room has 2 single beds. Perfect for 4 people.

Comfy sofas and the heat baseboards around the cabin and wood burning fireplace is nice. Kitchen has everything you need from a fridge, microwave, stove, drinking water, cutlery, coffee maker and other equipment.

WIFI is super fast and reliable, which is impressive, you can't say that for other cottages, so this cottage has strong wifi is icing on the cake. There is a patio table outside with chairs, a BBQ and firepit.

They have a private beach with kayaks.

I have nothing major to complain as it's a good place to stay. Only minor things that could be better is....I wish the TV was positioned somewhere on the eye level rather than they put the TV up high and it's a small TV so it makes it hard to watch movies comfortably from high up. Bathroom could be bigger as it could be a bit tight for some people. Cottage #1 is situated the farthest from the parking lot, although they have a wagon for you to haul your stuff in, it's still quite a distance and it's deem a bit difficult when trying to carry things during the rain or dragging the wagon thru the snow. But overall, we enjoy our stay here.

I would highly recommend this cottage. I would definitely come back, next time I would like to try another cabin just to see how it is and come in the summer to experience the private beach.

This is super great place to enjoy outdoors, nature and while maintaining physical distancing.

Beautiful location and the cabins are well maintained with everything you need (just need to bring your own food and linen). Canoes, kayaks and a tin boat are there to rent. Paddle boats are available as well.

My husband and I rented one of the small cottages for the weekend, it was perfect! The owners are fabulous, the resort is beautiful. We had a great time and hope to go back soon!
