“The Pheasant is a lovely pub with hardworking and friendly staff and lots of wonderful regulars. Aoife, Rachel, Josh and Nina are 4 bartenders who have kindly served me for many years. If I ever have an issue with food or a drink they help rectify the situation immediately. The fries and gravy and nachos are two of my favourite items. There is currently a lot of construction on the street but they have made an effort to decorate the patio to make it more inviting. The staff is the heart of this pub and is why the regulars keep returning.”

“For a quick, reasonable subs or gyros, this place is excellent. It looks a bit run down, but the sub makers always clean their hands before each sub is prepared. I’ve always experienced fresh buns, and ingredients (tomatoes, lettuce, onions, sub sauce). A lot cheaper then Subway, a large range and assortment of subs to choose from. Since COVID (owner) said it isn’t worth opening late any more. I’ve tried others, but I’ve always returned to Atlantic Sub if I’m in a mood for a good sub or gyro. Can’t eat in (since COVID and washrooms aren’t available). They take cash, debit or credit cards. Always friendly staff on hand.”

“Excellent dinner here! After reading the reviews, I decided on this place to surprise my husband on our anniversary. And it did not disappoint at all. Friendly service and the food is right as it should be. Super flavourful well cooked French cuisine. You don’t say this place is what it is from the outside at all. Definitely a hidden gem and totally underrated. We loved everything we ordered and left very satisfied and thinking of coming back!”
