Very nice side of Hamilton's forestry.
Pleasant little walk to a great view of the city.
Great paths for dogs. Connects to Bruce trail.
This is a great place for a hike or a mountain bike ride asking as both groups are respectful to each other. Please keep dogs on leash as per law and call out how many people are in you riding group to hikers after ringing your bell and we can all enjoy this great area.
I love going to this location for relaxation and photography. I real jewel on the West Mountain. Please be aware that while the main trail is easy to walk without much thought, the secondary trails require caution due to tree roots/large stones that could potentially trip the distracted. BMX bicyclists also use the secondary trails, so one will want to keep an eye out for them. Just use common sense on the secondary trails and one will be fine.
