One of several areas in Hamilton (Stoney Creek Mountain) that is a must-see especially if you're a visitor. The escarpment views are wonderful & the Devil's Punchbowl itself is a marvel to behold. The only drawback is that now, it is pay for parking ($7.50) whereas back in the day, there was no charge. Still, a definite place to visit especially with the family.
A good place for hiking and walking. Some parts are a little tricky to climb up towards the waterfall. Wear your best shoes to grip the slippery spots. The waterfall is surrounded by a beautiful formation of stones. The place is worth visiting.
Beautiful view. Probably better in the spring and summer because the trail down is open. Across the street is the Dofasco trail. Also very nice to walk, bike, snow shoe or cross country skiing
